modes

same biome: rolls a fresh seed that stays in the current biome, ignoring biome-filter chips.
next biome: or r steps to the next enabled biome, looping back to the first after the last.
locator: l opens the entity locator panel. Click a type to fly the camera to the nearest instance. Creatures enter follow mode. tab cycles through all instances of the selected type. esc closes the panel.
follow creature: tap any creature to track it indefinitely. Settings → follow pauses the sim while choosing. esc releases follow.
inspect specimen: shift + click any creature or flora to open its inspect view in a new tab.
first-person stroll: f enters/exits. wasd walks · shift moves faster · mouse looks · esc exits.
photo mode: p hides the ui and freezes animation. Click or use the save button to capture a png. p or esc exits.
manual pause: space pauses or resumes the simulation outside photo/stroll/selection modes.
